01The Initial Reading
Every water has a point of view. Our consultation begins with a discreet intake: where you swim, when you arrive, what you intend to be seen doing, and the conditions you prefer not to discuss. A Water Steward reviews salinity, temperature, current, and light, then assigns your personal Aquatic Compatibility Index. The result is not a forecast but a considered reading of how your garments will sit within the scene. Ocean, pool, inlet, or tender-side rinse, each environment receives its own notation in the client ledger.
02Fitting for the Tidal Hour
Fittings are conducted in the Tidal Hour: a 45-minute interval selected for the most accurate relationship between your body, your chosen garment, and the day’s water. Our stylist adjusts hem weight, cuff tension, and the proprietary float of each knit while you move, sit, and enter the water as you would at home. Remote clients receive a calibrated fitting kit with mineral swatches and a Shoreline Measure tape, followed by a concise Water Wardrobe Memorandum.
03A Private Record of Readiness
Your consultation concludes with a Readiness Register: a seasonal record of preferred coves, pool hours, and the garments that deserve first access. We revise it at each appointment, so a returning client is never asked to begin again. The service is suited to a new purchase, a complete aquatic wardrobe, or one particularly consequential weekend. Household teams may participate, provided everyone observes the same standard of discretion.
